Classes

Christine Woolnough is our senior physiotherapist, who specializes in the physiotherapy care of the older patient and leads our exercise classes. We offer:

  • Fitness for the over 60’s: This is a 45-minute class incorporating a range of stretching and strengthening exercises designed to maintain joint movement, muscle power, general fitness and balance. The class is particularly suitable for people with long term back or joint conditions who are starting to notice the effects of getting older
  • Keep on your feet: This is a slower paced exercise class, focusing on movement, power, balance and function. The exercises are performed in standing or sitting and is ideal for the older person who feels they are slowing down
